Adjust Servings:
2 tsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Black mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
2 nos. Chopped Onion
1 tsp Chopped Garlic
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
4 nos. Tomato
As per taste Salt
300 ml Water
150 gms Sev Namkeen
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/4 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Chopped coriander leave

Gujarati sev tamatar is made using juicy tomatoes, desi masalas and served with heaps of besan sev. But to make it the way restaurants and dhabas make it is a different thing all together. It is called Dhaba Style Sev Tamatar. Try out this Recipe guys.lts very Easy and Simple to make.

Anyone can try this coz it is made up of simple ingredients which are readily available.

Methods:
• Heat ghee in a wok, add Mustard seeds and Cumin seeds,
• Allow it to crackle.
• Add onions and cook until they are translucent.
• Add garlic and cook for a minute.
• Add the powdered spices and cook further for a minute.
• Add tomatoes and salt, cook until they are mushy.
• Add hot water and mix, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
• Add sev to the gravy and bring it to a boil, cover and cook
• For 2-3 minutes.
• Add garam masala and sugar which is optional, mix well
• And finish it with some freshly chopped coriander leaves.
• Serve hot with hot paratha or roti
