Ingredients

For soya preparation
1/2 Salt
1 soya chunks cup
4 Water
1 curd tbsp, thick curd/yogurt
1/2 Kashmiri red chilli powder tsp
1/2 Ginger garlic paste tsp
1/4 pepper crushed
1/4 corn flour cup
1 Oil tsp
Other Ingredients
4 Oil tsp
1 Green Chilli cut in slits
4 Spring onion
2 Onion
2 Capsicum 10 cubes of capsicum
2 Tomato Ketchup tbsp
1 Vinegar (white) tbsp
1 Soy sauce tbsp
1 Chilli sauce tsp
1/4 pepper crushed
1/4 Salt
For Corn flour slurry
1 corn flour
1/2 Water cup

Chilli soya chunks is an Indian-Chinese vegetarian recipe with soya chunks or meal maker, a great protein-source for vegetarians.

Steps

Firstly, in a large kadai heat 4 tsp oil and saute 3 clove garlic and 1 green chilli on high flame.

Saute 2 tbsp onion and 2 tbsp spring onion on high flame.

Further, add 10 cubes capsicum and continue to saute till they slightly change colour.

Additionally, add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp chilli sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, ¼ tsp pepper, and ¼ tsp salt.

Mix well and saute for a minute.

Add cornflour slurry and mix until the gravy slightly thickens and turns glossy.

Additionally, add fried soya chunks and mix well.

Finally, transfer soya chilli to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped spring onions green. serve with fried rice.
