Ingredients

250 gms Moong Dal
5 teaspoon Rice flour
1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
As per taste Salt
100 gms Chopped Onion
100 gms Chopped Tomato
100 gms Boiled green peas
2 teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon Ginger paste
1 teaspoon Green Chilli Paste
100 ml Oil
100 ml Water
1/2 cup Chopped coriander leave
1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
4 teaspoon Ghee
3 pouch ENO fruit salt

Moong Dal Omelette an easy and simple vegetarian omelette recipe made with moong bean batter. It is perhaps one of the famous street food breakfast recipes from the famous old streets of new delhi♥️. Must watch Full video recipe and try at home☺️

Firstly, soak moong dal for 30 minutes. you can increase the soaking time to up to 1 hour.

Drain off the water and blend to a smooth paste.

Transfer the moong dal paste to a large mixing bowl.

Add turmeric powder, rice flour and salt.

Beat and mix well forming a nice thick batter.

Take 2 ladleful of batter into a small bowl.

Add cumin seeds, green chilli & ginger paste, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp tomato and 2 tbsp green peas paste. You can use capsicum also in place of Peas.

Mix well making sure everything is well combined.

Add 1 pouch of eno fruit Salt to the batter and mix gently.

Now heat a pan and spread 2 tsp oil.

Once the batter turns frothy, pour onto the hot pan.

Sprinkle chilli powder and 1 tbsp coriander.

Cover and simmer for 2 minutes or until the base are cooked well. Sprinkle oil at the corners of Moonglet.

Now flip over and press gently.

Make a good slit in the centre and 1 tbsp butter or ghee in the centre.

Simmer for 2 more minutes or until its cooked completely.

Finally, enjoy Moonglet with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
